Daniil Dubov

Daniil Dmitriyevich Dubov ((ロシア語:Даниил Дмитриевич Дубов); born 18 April 1996 in Moscow) is a Russian chess Grandmaster. He completed his final grandmaster norm at the age of 14 years, 11 months, 14 days in 2011.
==Chess career==
Dubov won the bronze medal in the European Under-10 championship of 2006 and the silver medal in the European Under-12 championship of 2008. He won the Russian U16 rapid and blitz championships of 2009.
In 2009 he won the Young Stars of the World - Vanya Somov Memorial in Kirishi. In the same year he played for the Russian team that won gold in the Under-16 Chess Olympiad. Dubov also won the bronze medal on board two.
In 2011 he played again in the U16 Chess Olympiad and won team gold and individual bronze on board one.〔 Bartelski, Wojciech. (Daniil Dubov - World Youth U16 Chess Olympiads ) OlimpBase〕 Dubov won the Moscow Rapid Chess Championship of 2011.〔
In 2012, Dubov shared first place with Dmitry Andreikin and Nikita Vitiugov in the Russian Championship Higher League and qualified for the Superfinal of the Russian championship. In the latter he scored 4/9 points.
In January 2013, Dubov took part in the Tata Steel B tournament in Wijk aan Zee, where he scored 7.5/13 (+4=7-2) finishing fifth out of fourteen participants.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tatasteelchess.com/history/recent/year/2013/standings/2 )
At the Chess World Cup 2013 he reached the third round and was eliminated by Anton Korobov, after knocking out Sergey Fedorchuk and former FIDE World Champion Ruslan Ponomariov. In December 2013, he played a six-game friendly match with Alexei Shirov called "Battle of Generations", which was won by the latter.
In April 2015, he tied for first with Ian Nepomniachtchi in the Aeroflot Open, placing second on tiebreak.
His grandfather is International Arbiter Eduard Dubov.
